Apply to exchange

You must be studying at a university that has a student mobility agreement with UVSQ.

To find out if this is the case, check our list of partner universities, then inquire about the selection procedure at your university’s international affairs office. 

Please note: as a rule, applications must be made the year before your exchange.

Once you have been selected by your home university to complete a semester or year at UVSQ, you need to submit an online application.

When the online form has been submitted, a PDF of your application will be generated which you will need to print out. You must have this document signed by the head of department or institute of your home university, then send it with a photo attached to the international students section of the UVSQ International Relations Office by e-mail or post.

- May 31 for an exchange starting in September
- October 31 for an exchange starting in January

UVSQ offers a reception service when you arrive in France. A representative from the university will meet you at the airport and take you to the university or your accommodation.

To take advantage of this service, please contact the Student Life Department.

An orientation meeting for exchange students is held at the start of each semester. You will be sent an invitation one or two months before your arrival.

Students selected for an exchange program at UVSQ may request a room in a student residence through the UVSQ accommodation office.
This office can also help you look for private accommodation (residences, apartment sharing, rooms in private homes, etc.).
