«Danteum Re-mix.

Abstract:
The research topics I have addressed are centred on the relationship between representation and architecture project. In the brief H.D.R. in particular I present two texts a first « Three Cities. Note for a scientific autobiography », which summarizes and synthesizes my research journey to date, and a second text (original research paper): “Danteum Re-mix. Three stances for the Roman Forum».
The architectural representation is interpreted here as the specific language of the discipline, is therefore of the design. This consideration allows us a research experiment based on a critical analysis of the «Danteum» by Giuseppe Terragni (Roman project not built by the architect of Como, but of which we have a complete documentation of project). Critical analysis in which emerges as important, for the configuration of the Danteum, not only the relationship with the Comedy of Dante, but rather, the relationship between the building and its physical context, the Roman forums. In particular, our analysis enabled us to identify in the adjacent imperial architectures a series of «figures» which become, transposed into a modern language, the elements of Terragni’s architecture. On the basis of this analysis, the research foresees a new Danteum project, the Danteum Re-mix, which, based on the Terragni project, allows its construction in the current context of the centre of Rome. The Danteum Re-mix project, is defined as an access to the Roman Forum Park and as a museum of migration. The research offers the opportunity to reflect on the contemporary project, on the architectural representation between analogical and digital (what we have called hot digital) and on the relationship architecture- symbolic program and city.
