Ce cours se propose de parcourir les grandes étapes de l’histoire américaine depuis la période coloniale jusqu’à nos jours.

This course is an introductory survey of American history from the colonial period to the present day.

Contenu

This survey of American history introduces students to the major events, individuals and ideas in the history of the United States from the colonial period to the present day.

2.    The Road to Independence
3.    The Birth of the United States
4.    The Federalist Age
5.    Antebellum America
6.    Civil War and Reconstruction
7.    The Gilded Age and Progressive America
8.    World War I and the “Roaring Twenties”
9.    The Great Depression and the New Deal
10.    World War II and the 1950s
11.    Turbulent Decades: America in the Sixties and Seventies
12.    From the 1980s to the present
