1st GDR-IRN Howdi meeting: proposals for contributions are now closed!
The first meeting of the GDR-IRN HowDi, co-organised by GEMaC, will take place in Dourdan, from 9 to 13 May 2022. It will focus on two-dimensional materials and their assembly in heterostructures.

- 1st February 2022: Abstract submission deadline
- 8th February 2022: Extended abstract submission deadline
- 7th March 2022: Abstract acceptance
- 28th March 2022: Inscription and payment deadline
For a few month, a local committee including several GEMaC members and colleagues from other laboratories in Paris area have been involved in the preparation of the 1st GDR-IRN HOWDI meeting. It will bring together, from 9 to 13 May 2022 in Dourdan, researchers from France and abroad whose investigations focus on the physical properties emerging from van der Waals assemblies of two-dimensional materials.
These days will include invited talks, tutorials, oral presentations, posters, etc. and a special place for the youngest researchers.
Young researchers (PhD students, post-doctoral fellows), theoreticians and experimentalists with various scientific backgrounds are expected to be well represented in this workshop as they have the opportunity to present their work during poster sessions, oral contributions and two invited talks for students who are at the end of their thesis.
