Ce cours se propose de parcourir les grandes étapes de l’histoire américaine depuis la période coloniale jusqu’à nos jours.

This course is an introductory survey of American history from the colonial period to the present day.

This survey of American history introduces students to the major events, individuals and ideas in the history of the United States from the colonial period to the present day.

8.    World War I and the “Roaring Twenties”

11.    Turbulent Decades: America in the Sixties and Seventies
12.    From the 1980s to the present

Shi, David E. & Tindall, George B, America: A Narrative History, New York : Norton. Any edition as long as it is a “brief” one.
