[Call for Papers] Advancing Gender Equality: Violence Prevention in Organizations and Women's Entrepreneurship

Despite significant progress in recent years, gender inequality remains a challenge in organizations worldwide. Women continue to face structural barriers to leadership, unequal access to opportunities, and environments where discrimination, harassment, and various forms of violence shape their everyday professional experiences and trajectories. At the same time, women’s entrepreneurship has emerged as a powerful driver of innovation, economic growth and social transformation.

This conference explores the intersection of gender equality and gender-based violence from a management perspective. It aims to examine how organizations can foster inclusive cultures, support female leadership and implement effective strategies to prevent harassment, discrimination, and workplace violence.

Women's entrepreneurship is presented as an alternative for addressing women's professional challenges. But beyond the topic of women's entrepreneurship, gender and entrepreneurship are broader issues that deserve to be discussed. This conference will accept papers on gender-based violence, gender inequalities, and gender entrepreneurship from a broad perspective.

Submission Guidelines

Please send your proposals exclusively in anonymized PDF format to the following address: g5globalfive@gmail.com

The proposal must include two separate documents. 

The first should contain the title, the authors' names, and the full contact information of the lead author. 

The second should contain the title and the text corpus, but without the authors' names.

Submission of extended abstracts in English (3000 characters): September 1, 2026

Response from the scientific committee: September 15, 2026

Submission of full papers: November 15, 2026

Free registration and payment of Global FIVE membership fee (€50): November 15, 2026

Conference: November 25 and 26, 2026

The conference will take place at Barcelona School of Management, Carrer de Balmes 132, Barcelona.

Publication Projects

The best papers of the conference will benefit from a fast-track peer review in renowned scientific journals.

One best paper on entrepreneurship will be sent to Revue of Entrepreneurship (RE, ranked level 2 by the FNEGE and indexed in Scopus).

One best paper related to gender and business ethics will be sent to  Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility (BEER, ranked level 3 by the FNEGE and impact factor 5.3)
