Transnational project meeting of the consortium of the Erasmus+ capacity building project UTTERLY


On September 21 through 23, 2021 the consortium of the Erasmus+ capacity building project UTTERLY ("University teachers' certification centers: innovative approaches to promoting teaching excellence".) piloted by Ivan Franko University Lviv (Ukraine) held a transnational project meeting at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland.

On the first day (September 21) of the meeting, the main achievements and results of the first work package of the project were discussed. The first day of the meeting was opened by the speech of the coordinator of the project Vitaliy Kukharsky (Ivan Franko National University) about keynotes facts, plans, and key issues of the meeting.

In addition, the following documents were presented:
  • results of a benchmarking analysis conducted as a result of work on the first work package of the project (Mariusz Mazurkiewicz, Wroclaw);
  • strategy and model for Teacher Certification Centers (Svitlana Kalashnikova, Institute of Higher Education, National Academy of the Educational Science of Ukraine);
  • main achievements in the work of the first work package (Asta Raupeliene, VMU Kaunas, Lithuania).

During the second day (September 23), the results of the second work package of the project were discussed. The participants of the meeting also considered the following important aspects of the project:
  • a roadmap for the establishment and operation of Teacher Certification Centers;
  • the process of selecting academic and administrative staff for Teacher Certification Centers;
  • training programs for the Center's staff were presented, which will take place in Versailles (France) and Bayreuth (Germany).
On the final day (September 24), organizational issues of the project were discussed. Further steps of all partners in view of the successful implementation of the project implementation were identified.
