“TEACHERS’ CERTIFICATION CENTRES: INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO PROMOTION TEACHING EXCELLENCE” with winning of Erasmus+ grant, Capacity Building of Higher Education.


The Utterly project (University teachers' certification centers: innovative approach to promotion teaching excellence) is an Erasmus + Capacity Building project coordinated by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine).

This project, which brings together 14 European partners, including UVSQ, for 2 years, involves the creation of Centers of Teaching Excellence (CTE), certification centers for university teachers.

The aim of the project is to contribute the modernization of higher education systems in Ukraine by introducing National Centre of Teaching Excellence for the promotion of European educational innovations.

Project duration: January 15, 2021 - January 14, 2023

Expected results:
  1. Benchmarking research conducted.
  2. Strategy and model for Teaching Exellence developed
  3. Selected staff retrained in EU.
  4. CTEs offices opened
  5. Professional standards for university teachers developed.
  6. Regulation for teacher attestation improved
  7. Teaching excellence curriculum developed
  8. Evaluation methodology for certification created
  9. Trainees for pilot groups enrolled.
  10. Certification programs accredited.
The main tasks of UVSQ in this project:
  • participation in all of the project meetings;
  • UVSQ has is leading work package in control of CTE and responsible for creation CTE Roadmap as a guidance for the centre establishment;
  • technical support for comparative research, organization of courses for certain members of the administrative and academic staff of the consortium, methodological and technical support, preparation of the report for the final conference of the project.
